Role Description The Telecommunication Engineering Senior Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for leading the operation, maintenance, and optimization of the company’s telecommunication infrastructure. This role oversees a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring stable performance of voice, data, and network systems that support Xceed’s multi-site contact center operations. The Senior Supervisor plans and coordinates telecom projects, monitors network capacity and availability, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to align telecom services with business needs. Day-to-day tasks include supervising preventive and corrective maintenance, managing vendor relationships, reviewing technical designs and implementation plans, and ensuring adherence to relevant standards and security policies. The role also involves preparing performance reports, identifying opportunities for improvement, mentoring team members, and supporting business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong Supervisory Skills with proven experience leading and developing telecommunication or network engineering teams. Engineering Management experience, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and aligning telecom infrastructure with organizational objectives. Project Management skills for scoping, scheduling, and delivering telecom projects (e.g., upgrades, expansions, migrations) on time and within budget. Hands-on experience in Maintenance & Repair of telecommunication systems, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and preventive maintenance practices. Exposure to Construction or implementation of telecom infrastructure (such as cabling, equipment rooms, data centers, and network rollout) is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics & Communications, or a related engineering field. Solid knowledge of voice and data networks, IP telephony, contact center technologies, and relevant industry standards and security practices. Ability to work on-site in Cairo, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
