This role involves managing inbound and outbound sales activities, conducting venue tours, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating contracts, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning journey. The Events Account Manager will play a key role in growing venue revenue, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction, and positioning Ghurnata as a premier destination for private, corporate, and community events.

Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Drive revenue generation through venue hire, private events, and corporate bookings. Manage and convert inbound sales inquiries into confirmed event bookings. Proactively identify and pursue outbound sales opportunities to generate new business. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and referral networks. Develop repeat business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth targets.
Client Management & Venue Sales Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales and planning process. Conduct engaging and informative site tours, showcasing venue capabilities and event possibilities. Understand client objectives, requirements, and preferences to develop tailored event solutions. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, inquiries, and bookings. Ensure a high standard of customer service throughout the client journey.
Quotations, Proposals & Contract Negotiation Prepare detailed quotations, proposals, budgets, and event agreements. Develop customised event packages that align with client needs and business objectives. Lead contract negotiations to secure commercially beneficial agreements. Ensure all contractual obligations, event requirements, and client expectations are clearly documented and communicated. Follow up on proposals and actively manage the sales pipeline to maximise conversion rates.
Event Planning & Delivery Support Collaborate closely with operations, programming, and venue teams to ensure seamless event delivery. Communicate client requirements and event specifications accurately to internal stakeholders. Support event planning activities from confirmation through execution. Monitor event progress and address client requests or concerns promptly and professionally. Assist in maintaining operational standards and service excellence across all events.

Demonstrated experience preparing proposals, quotations, and contracts. Strong track record of negotiating and closing commercial agreements. Experience managing client relationships throughout the event lifecycle. Previous experience in wedding planning or wedding event management is highly advantageous. Familiarity with CRM systems, booking platforms, and event management software. Understanding of budgeting, pricing, and revenue generation principles.
