Role Description This is a full-time, on-site مهندس صيانة إلكترونية (Electronics Maintenance Engineer) role based in Cairo. The role includes performing troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment, control systems, and VFDs to ensure stable and efficient operation. The engineer will conduct preventive maintenance, perform detailed diagnostics at component and board level, and document all maintenance activities and test results. Daily tasks include supporting production or industrial sites, responding to equipment failures, coordinating with engineering teams for root-cause analysis, and recommending improvements to reduce downtime. The role also involves following safety procedures, maintaining tools and test instruments, and communicating clearly with internal stakeholders and customers.
Qualifications
Strong background in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for electronic and electrical systems. Hands-on experience in Maintenance Engineering, including fault diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions. Proficiency in Preventive Maintenance planning, execution, and documentation to reduce unplanned downtime. Solid Electrical Maintenance skills, including reading electrical schematics and using relevant test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes). Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related technical field. Knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, and variable speed drives (VFDs) is highly desirable. Ability to work on-site in industrial environments, prioritize tasks, and respond quickly to equipment issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality. Effective communication skills in Arabic and working proficiency in English for technical documentation and coordination. Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting and familiarity with EHS standards is a plus.
