Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Communications System Engineer located in Sheikh Zayed, Giza, Egypt.
The engineer will be responsible for supervising smart home installations and ensuring the successful integration of various communication technologies and smart devices across residential projects. The role includes conducting site visits, understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable smart home solutions, coordinating with electricians and installation teams, and ensuring projects are delivered according to company standards.
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of electrical systems and wireless communication technologies such as Zigbee and Wi-Fi, with the ability to read and understand technical documentation and product manuals. The engineer will also assist in configuring and testing smart home ecosystems through mobile applications and interfaces while providing technical guidance and product demonstrations to customers.
In addition, the engineer will work closely with the sales and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution, perform system testing and commissioning, and support the final handover process to clients.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply. Basic understanding of wireless communication technologies such as Zigbee and Wi-Fi. Good knowledge of electrical systems and low-current installations. Ability to read and understand technical documentation and installation manuals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer-handling abilities. Professional proficiency in written and spoken English. Willingness to travel for site visits across Cairo and Giza. Previous exposure to Smart Home or IoT technologies is a plus. Familiarity with platforms such as Apple Home, Google Home, or similar ecosystems is an advantage but not mandatory.
