Today, we are recruiting for a Financial Project Controller to join our team in Egypt. Drive the financial performance of Rail Infrastructure projects by developing and managing projects budget, conducting accurate forecasting (revenue, margin, cash flow), and performing rigorous actual-versus-plan analysis. Define and monitor key financial KPIs to ensure business goals are consistently met and proactively identify opportunities for financial optimization. Ensure and provide accurate financial project accounting. Proactively identify potential financial risks and cost overruns, implementing effective mitigation strategies to prevent financial losses. Analyze and optimize project cost structures, identifying key cost drivers, and implementing strategies to enhance profitability throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure proper cost booking and adherence to organizational financial standards. Serve as the primary financial partner to Project Managers, providing commercial expertise through project execution and closure. Manage financial guarantees / bonds and insurance requirements Oversee the efficient commercial handling of customer orders, including accurate invoicing, reporting as well as the related cash collection. What do I need to qualify for this job? Proven experience of minimum 5-7 years in financial project management and/or Controlling, ideally within the Rail Infrastructure or a similar industrial sector. Strong expertise in financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Demonstrated ability in risk management. Proficiency in project management methodologies (agile and/or traditional environments). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across departments. Assertiveness and dealing with pressure are part of your strengths. Ability to read contracts, write and engage with stakeholders in fluent English. Proficiency in SAP & Microsoft Office What else do I need to know?
