Responsibilities Follow and implement technical office policies and procedures and tenant manuals. Introduce the tenant to the mall engineering fit-out criteria “design guidelines” as per the technical fit-out manual Inspect retail units from the contractor and hand over all required mechanical tie-ins to the tenant Study the mechanical design proposed by the tenant and ensure design guidelines are fulfilled Ensure material compliance with Vendor list (water, drain, firefighting pipes, valves, meters, sprinklers with ZCV components, AC units with ducts routing, Hookups, ventilation ducts and dampers, pumps, and fans) Reply to inspection request from a tenant to ensure installations as per technical review (start fit out, first fix, Installations, voids closure, isolation testing, pipes pressure testing, meters reading, AC test, and balance) Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project. Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers, and supervisors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site fit-out progress in order to meet agreed deadlines as per the contract with the tenant Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site Preparing reports as required Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.3 to 5 years of experience in the Retail/Malls industry is a must. Very Good in spoken and written English.
