The German University in Cairo invites applications for academic positions at the ranks of Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Professor, to be filled effective September 2026.
Position Description and Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Ph. D. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, or a closely related discipline. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a strong record of internationally recognized research in areas such as enterprise systems, business analytics, data mining, e-government, and/or business process management. Successful candidates will contribute to teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including the supervision of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral theses. A commitment to high-quality teaching and innovative curriculum development is essential. Applicants should ideally possess relevant industry experience, strong technical competencies, and a proven ability and clear potential to acquire and manage externally funded research projects.
