Overview of the role

The Jr. HRBP will manage and maintain all HR processes and policies for the Automotive Business function. This role is responsible for providing HR advice/guidance and to promote employee engagement within the organization. 

 

What you will do

  • Ensure the HR function of the business is managed in accordance within each countries local legislation.
  • Provide consultative advice to managers and staff on a wide range of HR matters including discipline/grievance and performance management, meeting attendance, investigation reports and other HR related records.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior line management on all human capital management matters. Case reports and summary resolutions provided.
  • Having a deep understanding of the business, and in particular the sources of profit and the cost base, to implement HR strategies and practices that support robust business growth; reinforce a culture of performance focus, meritocracy and diversity; and comply with Group HR policy. Communicating HR plans and progress to the Business Unit.
  • Meetings with Finance, P&L reports from Finance Department.
  • Ensuring annual manpower budgeting exercise is conducted accurately and efficiently across all stores regionally, focus on measuring the employee engagement of the business units and take actions necessary to improve it, Manpower Exercise meetings and discussions.
  • Assistance in consolidation of reports for businesses under Automotive will be an additional responsibility. Submission of monthly IR for the overall automotive.
  • Submissions of all types of Increments as a whole and review of HR cases received from business.
  • Filter of any HR decisions that concerns Automotive within the confidentiality level. 
  • People Strategy updates and quarter presentations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
  • Budget planning, business acumen and change management skills.

 

What equips you for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience within a matrix organization.
  • Experience within the automotive industry is an added advantage.
  • CIPD or equivalent professional certification preferred.
