Job Summary:
Will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and controlling costs to support efficient financial management.
The role focuses on budgeting, cost analysis, variance reporting and implementing cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, record, and analyze production, operational, or project costs
- Prepare cost reports and variance analysis (actual vs. budget/standard costs)
- Develop and maintain cost control procedures and policies
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling cost projections
- Track inventory costs, material consumption, labor, and overhead allocations
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions
- Support month-end and year-end closing related to cost accounting
- Reconcile cost accounts and ensure data accuracy in ERP/accounting systems
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, and project teams on cost issues
- Assist internal and external audits by providing cost-related documentation
