  • Manage directly and provide engineering and technical support to all the Mechanical work groups at site.
  • Review Engineering drawings such as Shop drawings and as-built drawings.
  • Act as a technical adviser for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives at the site.
  • Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
  • Interpret construction drawings and study the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to the execution of any jobs.
  • Oversee the mechanical work plan and coordinate with other trades (civil, electrical, etc.) to complete the work and avoid clashes.
  • Ensure that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national, or international standards.
  • Estimate, prepare, and assign the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to execution.
  • Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work.
