Job Purpose We are seeking a Technical Manufacturing Specialist with hands-on experience in the production of soap and personal care products within a real manufacturing environment. This role will initially be offered as a short-term consultancy assignment, with the potential to transition into a full-time permanent position based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities Oversee and support the manufacturing processes of soap and personal care products Execute and monitor production activities including mixing, processing, filling, and packaging Ensure adherence to product formulations, specifications, and quality standards Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and optimize processes Collaborate with Quality teams to ensure product compliance and consistency Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues on the production floor Support new product development and scale-up activities Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and manufacturing standards
Mandatory Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing cosmetics, personal care, or hygiene products Hands-on experience within a factory or production environment (not purely office-based) Direct exposure to production processes such as mixing, processing, filling, or packaging5 to 15 years of relevant experience (flexibility may be considered for strong profiles) Preferred Qualifications Experience in setting up or developing production lines Exposure to third-party / contract manufacturing Experience in liquid products such as liquid soap, shampoo, or similar formulations Good understanding of quality control, product stability, and batch consistency Employment Type Initial: Short-term consultancy contract Potential: Transition to full-time permanent role based on performance
