Job Description
The Accountant plays a key role in supporting the company's financial operations by maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting activities, and assisting in reporting and compliance processes. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and follow-ups.
- Record daily transactions and maintain accurate financial documentation.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and periodic reports (weekly/monthly).
- Support month-end closing, including journal entries, accrals, and reconciliations.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist with audits and tax filings in coordination with external parties.
- Coordinate with internal teams and communicate with vendors, clients, and auditors as needed.
