Position Overview:The Oracle Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering customizations and extensions to the Oracle E-Business Suite. This role requires the use of Oracle development tools, including Oracle Forms, Reports, and PL/SQL, to meet specific business needs and improve productivity. The Specialist will collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Responsibilities:Designs, delivers customizations and extensions to the Oracle E-Business Suite using Oracle development tools, including Oracle Forms, Reports and PL/SQL to meet specific business needs and improve productivity. Uses all available Oracle reporting tools including report builder, XML Publisher, and Oracle Discoverer to design and generate reports from Oracle databases. Collaborates with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develops and maintains technical documentation for Oracle-based systems to provide a comprehensive record of the systems’ configuration, maintenance procedures and troubleshooting issues. Develops new reports to meet the reporting needs of different users and departments to maintain smooth workflow. Designs, develops, and tests Oracle applications customization and personalization as needed by the implementation (e.g., Workflow customization, form personalization, Oracle alerts) to tailor the Oracle applications to meet the specific business needs and reduce errors. Designs, develops, and tests applications needed to integrate Oracle E-business Suite with other legacy applications or third-party applications to improve business process and reduce costs. Implements data conversion and uploads process by providing necessary tools using the Oracle application programming interfaces (Oracle APIs) to integrate with other applications. Implements and follows up plans of needed projects to ensure finishing them on time. Creates and reviews code to ensure code quality and adherence to standards. Implements troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure smooth operation of Oracle-based systems.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or any equivalent.2 - 4 years of experience as an Oracle Developer, using Oracle E-Business Suite reporting tools. Excellent command in English . Excellent using different Microsoft programs.
