Develop and execute logistics strategies aligned with production and sales plans
Manage inbound and outbound transportation operations
Ensure timely delivery to customers, distributors, and export markets
Optimize routing, load planning, and freight utilisation.
Oversee company fleet.
Ensure efficient allocation, utilization, and availability of vehicles
Manage preventive maintenance and repair schedules
Monitor fuel consumption, driver performance, and vehicle tracking systems
Ensure compliance with safety, licensing, and transport regulations
Manage export shipments from planning to execution
Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers
Ensure accuracy of export documentation (invoices, packing lists, COO, etc.)
Supervise import/export customs clearance processes
Resolve clearance issues, delays, or inspections
Coordinate loading/unloading operations with warehouse teams
Ensure proper handling of paints and hazardous materials
Align dispatch schedules with delivery plans
Develop and control logistics budgets
Negotiate contracts with transporters and logistics service providers
Identify and implement cost optimization initiatives
Monitor logistics cost efficiency
Ensure compliance with HSE standards for handling chemicals and flammable materials
Enforce safe transport and storage practices
Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations
Manage claims related to damages, losses, or accidents
Lead logistics, fleet, and dispatch teams
Set KPIs and manage team performance.
Drive continuous improvement culture
