Supply Chain & Vendor Coordination:
· Manage the full flow of products from suppliers and company-owned farms to packing stations, ensuring efficient processing, inventory accuracy, and shipment readiness. Oversee vendor performance and seasonal labor allocation.
Cold Chain & Operational Efficiency
· Develop and oversee a fully integrated cold chain system from farm to port, ensuring that all temperature-sensitive products maintain optimal quality during harvest, packing, storage, and transportation.
· Implement monitoring and control processes for refrigeration at every stage, minimizing spoilage, waste, and product rejection.
· Collaborate with Operations, Farms, and Logistics teams to align harvest schedules, packing, and shipping with cold chain requirements.
· Provide strategic recommendations to management for investments in cold chain infrastructure or process improvements to enhance export reliability and customer satisfaction.
Export & Market Development:
· Support opening new export markets, manage existing client relationships, and track customer satisfaction. Collaborate with Sales/Export teams to optimize shipment volumes and respond to market demand fluctuations.
Operational Efficiency & Cost Control:
· Monitor shipment costs, container utilization, and lead times. Identify bottlenecks, propose process improvements, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or delivery schedules.
Strategic Reporting & Decision Support:
· Provide actionable insights to management on logistics performance, export reliability, cost optimization, and opportunities for growth. Contribute to strategic planning for seasonal operations and market expansion.
Skills
Educational Requirements:
· B.A in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
· Relevant professional certifications; APICS/CPIM, CILT, Certified Supply Chain Professional, is highly preferred.
Languages:
· Arabic – Native Speaker
· English – Expert
· French – Very Good
· Other Languages will be welcomed
Experience Requirements:
· 8- 12 years of Experience at least 5 years in managerial role
