Role Description This is a full-time on-site position for a Mechanical Design Manager specializing in low-voltage (LV) and medium-voltage (MV) panels. Based in Qesm El Maadi, the role involves overseeing the mechanical design of electrical panels, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and managing a team of designers. Responsibilities include coordinating with engineering teams, creating detailed designs and specifications, supervising the development of prototypes, improving existing product designs, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget. The role requires frequent collaboration with production, quality control, and technical departments to ensure product excellence and functionality.
Qualifications Expertise in Mechanical Design, including proficiency in CAD software (Solid Works, Auto CAD, etc.) and knowledge of mechanical systems for LV and MV panels. Strong project management and leadership skills to oversee design teams and ensure timely delivery of projects. Experience in technical standards compliance and creating detailed technical documentation and design specifications. Understanding of manufacturing processes, including sheet metal fabrication and plastic injection molding, is highly advantageous. Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address design challenges and implement improvements. Ability to collaborate effectively across departments, including engineering, production, and quality control teams. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus. Prior experience in LV and MV panel manufacturing is desirable. Proven ability to work effectively in an on-site team located in Qesm El Maadi.
