Job Purpose:- Responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies for freight forwarding services. The role work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure that pricing is competitive and profitable.
Key Responsibilities :- Develop and implement pricing strategies for freight forwarding services (mainly ocean freight). Negotiate rates with carriers and other service providers. Analyze pricing data to identify trends and opportunities. Prepare and present pricing proposals to network, sales & commercial team. Monitor market conditions and competitors' pricing.
Qualification Experience & Skills :-
Bachelor’s degree1:3 years of experience in freight forwarding-Ocean freight division. Strong understanding of pricing principles and strategies, and shipping lines routes and services. V. Good English Language skills V. Good Presentation skills V. Good Communication Skills Able to manage clients V. Good in Microsoft Office Programs: Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook Excellent analytical and negotiation skills V. Good Customer services skills. V. good Negotiation and persuasion skills Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Able to cope with high work pressure.
