Forecasting & Demand Planning

• Build and update short-, mid-, and long-term forecasts using historical data, seasonality, and business inputs. 

Supply & Inventory Alignment

• Convert demand into clear inputs for supply planning and replenishment decisions. 
• Highlight long lead-time / constrained / high-variability items and propose mitigation plans. 
• Identify slow movers and monitor stock cover/critical items to protect service levels. 
• Update reorder points monthly and ensure timely placement of required orders per revised levels. 
• Evaluate shipment delay impact on stock and share corrective actions with SC Manager and relevant teams. 

Data, Reporting & KPIs

• Maintain planning data in ERP/planning tools and ensure accuracy. 
• Track and report KPIs (MAPE/MAD/Bias, service impact, inventory risks) on weekly and monthly basis

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Record planning notes, follow up actions, and incorporate them into future planning. 
• Communicate forecast changes in a structured way to stakeholders. 

Execution Support (as required)

• Support execution of confirmed orders based on lead time / reorder point / sector requests; verify received PLs 

        before confirmation

• Coordinate shipments and manage all required shipping documentation

Continuous Improvement

• Improve forecasting methods, templates, and planning discipline; enhance ERP usage, automation, and reporting to reduce manual work and    

        errors. 

Decision Rights / Approvals

• Demand Planner prepares forecast, analysis, and recommendations. 
• Supply Chain Manager reviews/approves final demand assumptions, inventory targets, and supply response 

       priorities.
