ROLE OVERVIEWSenior, office-based role responsible for document control governance and system oversight across multiple PMCM projects in Egypt and overseas. The position acts as the central authority, defining standards and ensuring consistency and compliance across all project sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDocument Control Governance Establish and enforce PMCM-wide document control policies, procedures, coding, and workflows. Ensure alignment with contractual, client, and PMCM requirements. Identify document-related risks and implement portfolio-level controls.
Systems & Digital Management Govern and optimize EDMS implementation and usage across projects. Control document lifecycle: registration, review, approval, revision, distribution, and archiving. Define access rights, version control, and document security standards.
Compliance & Quality Support Ensure compliance with quality management systems and contractual documentation requirements. Prevent use of obsolete or incorrect documents. Support audits, inspections, and project close-out documentation.
Leadership & Reporting Lead and supervise site Document Control Managers and teams. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, IT, and project teams. Prepare consolidated document control reports on status, compliance, and risks. Drive continuous improvement in document control efficiency and transparency.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or related field10+ years of document control experience in construction, EPC, or PMCM projects Experience managing multi-project / multi-country document control systems Strong knowledge of EDMS, document control procedures, and contract documentation Proven leadership of document control teams Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills Proficient in MS Office and document management systems Able to work in a multicultural, international environment Willingness for periodic site / overseas travel
