We are looking for a Sales Senior Specialist (Outdoor) to join our Commercial – General Trade Sales team. This role focuses on managing field sales activities, strengthening relationships with key general trade customers, and ensuring effective execution of sales strategies across assigned territories.
Job Purpose
Lead outdoor sales coverage in key general trade territories, optimize distributor performance, ensure execution of sales strategies in the field, and support the achievement of volume, revenue, and numeric distribution targets in high-priority areas.
Key Accountabilities
• Drive sell-in performance by managing and growing sales from key general trade accounts including wholesalers, semi-wholesalers, and high-volume retailers. • Identify and develop new sales opportunities while optimizing customer coverage within the assigned territory. • Conduct regular outdoor field visits to maintain strong relationships with customers and ensure effective market coverage. • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular follow-ups, reliable service, and effective issue resolution. • Ensure product availability and efficient order cycle management through coordination with logistics and customer service teams. • Analyze sales performance, customer trends, and stock movement to proactively address gaps and opportunities in the market. • Support onboarding and field orientation of new sales team members by sharing best practices and territory insights. • Follow up on collections and credit performance to ensure customer compliance and minimize account risk. • Provide timely and accurate reports on sales activities, market feedback, and competitor insights. • Recommend improvements to territory coverage plans and support tactical execution with the Area Sales Manager.
Job Requirements
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in general trade outdoor sales or traditional market field sales. • Up to 6 years of experience in GT sales, including distributor coordination.
Skills & Competencies: • Strong knowledge of general trade sales operations and territory management. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. • Experience in order management, customer portfolio analysis, and credit follow-up. • Ability to work independently in a field-based environment while coordinating with cross-functional teams. • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities and resolve challenges proactively.
