  • Own and oversee the end-to-end import process for overseas shipments, ensuring on-time, cost-effective, and compliant delivery.
  • Ensure full compliance with local and international trade laws, customs regulations, and internal company policies.
  • Lead import logistics activities including shipment planning, freight management, warehousing coordination, and final delivery.
  • Manage all import documentation and administrative processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
  • Coordinate closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor import data, costs, and performance metrics to identify savings opportunities and operational efficiencies.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, SOPs, and compliance controls.
  • Build, lead, and supervise the import team, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching.
  • Proactively manage risks, delays, and unexpected disruptions across the import cycle.
  • Align import strategies with overall business objectives and supply chain priorities.
