Job Summary
The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing all logistics and import operations for Bouri Group. This role ensures the efficient, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods from international suppliers to company warehouses. The Logistics Manager oversees shipping operations, customs clearance, supplier coordination, and logistics performance while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Planning & Operations
- Plan, organize, and manage all logistics operations related to the import and export of home appliances and related products.
- Follow up with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping companies, and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of shipments to company warehouse.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, port authorities, and customs brokers to ensure timely cargo movement.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, to ensure smooth customs clearance processes.
- Optimize freight costs, carrier selection, and route planning to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage all import documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, EURO1 certificates, and related customs documents.
- Coordinate with international suppliers regarding shipments preparation, dispatch schedules, and documentation requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.
- Coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure timely settlement of logistics payments and financial obligations.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation Archive related to all import activities.
- Prepare weekly reports covering the status of imported shipments.
- Lead and supervise a team of 2 members, ensuring high performance and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with local and international customs regulations and import requirements.
- Ensure full adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
