Job Title: Human Resources Director
Department: Human Resources Location: Maadi, Cairo, Egypt Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: CEO
Job Summary The Human Resources Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resources department, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with the organization's mission and talent strategy. The HR Director will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership and will support the company’s growth by developing scalable HR practices and building high-performing teams. This role requires a balance between strategic leadership and hands-on execution in a fast-paced technology environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities Lead and manage the Human Resources team. Recruit, interview, hire, and train HR team members. Oversee the daily workflow of the HR department. Set departmental goals and performance indicators. Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations. Coache and develop HR team members. Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties and Responsibilities HR Strategy and Organizational Development Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to growth, staffing, and retention. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives. Support organizational planning and workforce forecasting. Build scalable HR processes to support company growth. Recommend improvements to organizational structure and effectiveness.
HR Programs and Operations Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement HR policies, processes, and initiatives. Oversee the administration of human resource programs including:Compensation and benefits Performance management Talent management Employee engagement Training and development Employee relations Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures. Oversee HR systems and employee records. Improve HR operational efficiency.
Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning Identifie current and future staffing needs. Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies. Oversee recruitment processes and hiring quality. Build talent pipelines for key roles. Support manpower planning and forecasting.
Performance and Talent Management Oversee the performance management process. Ensure consistent implementation across departments. Support managers in performance discussions. Monitor performance trends and KPIs. Develop initiatives to improve employee performance.
HR Analytics and Reporting Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends using HR data and reports. Monitor HR metrics including hiring, retention, and performance. Provide data-driven recommendations to management. Use HR data to support business decisions.
Compliance and Governance Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations. Review and update HR policies and procedures. Oversee employee documentation and records. Ensure HR practices follow legal and regulatory requirements. Support internal audits if required.
Leadership and Development Develop and implements leadership development initiatives. Facilitate training and development programs. Support manager development. Promote continuous learning. Facilitate professional development for HR staff.
Budget Management Develop and manage the HR department budget. Monitor HR-related costs. Recommend cost-effective HR solutions.
Continuous Improvement Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, and new technologies in Human Resources. Recommend improvements to HR practices. Introduce modern HR solutions when appropriate. Supports HR transformation initiatives.
Other Responsibilities Performs other duties as required to support business needs.

Education and Experience
Education Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is preferred. Experience Minimum 8 years of experience in Human Resources. Minimum 5–8 years in a senior HR leadership role. Experience managing multiple HR functions. Experience leading HR teams. Experience in technology/software development industry is preferred.
