Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Planning Engineer based in Egypt. The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing detailed project plans, managing production schedules, and overseeing project controls to ensure timely delivery. The role also involves analyzing data to optimize production processes, providing recommendations for improvements, and efficiently coordinating with stakeholders. Strong communication and collaboration with team members are essential to ensure the execution of complex engineering projects.
Qualifications Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.5–8 years of experience in Planning or Project Controls. Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong knowledge of Microsoft Project. Experience in EPC / Engineering projects (Oil & Gas experience is highly preferred). Strong understanding of WBS development, resource loading, cost & progress integration, and baseline management. Solid knowledge of delay analysis, risk assessment, and recovery planning techniques. Strong analytical, reporting, and dashboard preparation skills. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Project Management certification is a plus). Ability to work efficiently in an on-site environment in Egypt. Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills to manage planning interfaces across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
