Key Responsibilities:
- Control room and plant field operation of Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, HRSGs, Boilers, Condensers, Generators, Excitation systems, Transformers, MV/LV systems and auxiliary systems.
- Perform plant start-up, shutdown, load changes, and emergency handling procedures.
- Monitor key performance indicators (temperatures, pressures, heat rate, vibration, . . trends).
- Coordinate with Maintenance teams for corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and safety standards.
- Participate in performance testing and plant optimization initiatives.
- Manage synchronization, load dispatch coordination, and grid compliance.
- Monitor protection systems and respond to electrical disturbances.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems during shift operations.
- Participate in incident analysis and reporting.
- Operate and monitor DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems.
- Coordinate with field maintenance teams during maintenance activities.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or relevant Engineering discipline.3–7 years of experience in steam, gas or combined cycle power plant operation.Familiarity with DCS, PLC, and SCADA based plant operation systems.Strong understanding of grid codes and protection philosophy.Ability to work rotating shifts.Readiness to work out of Egypt.General Competencies Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.Analytical thinking and structured troubleshooting approach.Ability to work in high-responsibility environments.Good command of English language.Strong teamwork and communication skills.
