As a Senior Tooling & Mold Maintenance Engineer at Midea Group, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing tooling systems used in refrigerator manufacturing, including :-
- sheet metal dies
- plastic molds
- thermoforming molds
- PU foaming molds.
responsibilities include:-
- Performing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities
- Troubleshooting tooling and mold-related issues and conducting root cause analysis
- Repairing or replacing damaged components to ensure optimal performance
- Ensuring molds and dies are properly cleaned, calibrated, and maintained to prevent product defects
- Maintaining and repairing molds used in the production of various plastic components
- Working closely with production teams to optimize mold and tooling performance
- Developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans and schedules
- Supervising and training junior maintenance engineers and technicians
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while minimizing downtime
