1. Daily Operations Management:

Oversee receiving operations and ensure goods are stored properly and efficiently.

Organize loading and shipping processes, ensuring orders are dispatched accurately and on time.

Optimize warehouse space utilization to maximize storage capacity.

2. Inventory Control:

Manage periodic and annual stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.

Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages or slow-moving/dead stock, and report accordingly.

Minimize damage and shrinkage by improving handling and storage practices.

3. Leadership and Team Management:

Supervise warehouse staff (supervisors, storekeepers, workers, and drivers) and set shift schedules.

Train new employees, evaluate team performance, and support skill development.

Foster a positive work environment committed to high productivity.

4. Safety and Security:

Enforce occupational health and safety standards within the warehouse.

Ensure proper maintenance of material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts) and facility safety.

Manage security procedures to prevent theft and misconduct.

5. Reporting and Data Management:

Prepare monthly performance reports (KPIs) for senior management.

Efficiently utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as SAP.
