Job Purpose
Responsible for sourcing and procuring spare parts/Services and equipment (CAPEX & OPEX) ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery timelines to support plant operations.
Key Responsibilities- Review technical specifications, datasheets, and drawings.
- Issue RFQs to approved vendors and evaluate quotations.
- Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up until final delivery.
- Develop alternative suppliers to mitigate single-source risks.
- Identify cost-saving and value engineering opportunities.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, including purchase orders and contracts, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Monitor market trends to identify new procurement opportunities.
- Stay updated on pricing, availability, and technological advancements in the relevant categories.
- Track and report key metrics (e.g., savings, supplier performance).
- Prepare reports for management on procurement activities and performance.
