Job Overview


The Field Specialist II – Artificial Lift Systems is an intermediate-level field role responsible for independently executing installation, operation, inspection, and maintenance activities for artificial lift systems and associated surface equipment. The role applies proven technical knowledge and field experience to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. The Field Specialist II performs assignments with minimal supervision and plays a key role in pulling unit operations, equipment troubleshooting, and well performance optimization. This position is expected to identify technical issues, implement corrective actions, and provide recommendations to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency. In addition to field execution, the role supports workshop activities in Cairo, including equipment preparation, testing, and dispatch. The Field Specialist II may guide junior personnel on site and act as a direct operational interface with supervisors and clients while ensuring strict compliance with HSE standards and company policies.


Responsibilities


  • Install, commission, and retrieve artificial lift systems and surface equipment.
  • Lead or actively support pulling unit operations and well intervention activities.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and implement corrective actions for equipment failures.
  • Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and functional testing.
  • Monitor well performance and analyze production data to recommend optimization actions.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, job summaries, and performance evaluations.
  • Support workshop operations in Cairo, including equipment preparation, inspection, testing, and dispatch.
  • Provide technical guidance to Field Specialist I personnel when required.
  • Act as a communication link between field operations, supervisors, and clients.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, client requirements, and HSE standards.

Skills


  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently in demanding field environments (onshore/offshore).
  • Solid understanding of artificial lift systems and related field operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication and coordination skills.
  • Good English language skills (written and spoken).
  • Strong awareness of HSE standards and operational risk controls.

Qualifications


  • High School Diploma 
  • 0-3 years of relevant field experience in artificial lift systems.
  • Practical knowledge of installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of artificial lift equipment.
  • Understanding HSE standards and field safety requirements.
  • Willingness to work in field locations (onshore/offshore).
  • Ability to be based in Cairo.
