Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Section Head to lead and manage all foreign procurement activities for a chemicals manufacturing plant. The role is responsible for sourcing raw materials, chemicals, spare parts, and CAPEX items from international suppliers while ensuring cost efficiency, timely delivery, and compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end foreign procurement operations.
- Source and negotiate with international suppliers.
- Handle import processes, shipping documentation, and customs clearance coordination.
- Monitor global market trends and price fluctuations for chemical raw materials.
- Ensure compliance with hazardous materials regulations and international trade laws.
- Manage supplier performance and maintain strategic partnerships.
- Control procurement budget and achieve cost-saving targets.
- Coordinate with planning, production, finance, and logistics teams.
