Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team, specializing in sheet metal applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full design lifecycle, from concept development to creating comprehensive manufacturing and assembly documentation, ensuring product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
• Mechanical Design: Perform comprehensive mechanical design duties, including concept development, detailed design, and the creation of manufacturing and assembly drawings utilizing SolidWorks.
• Prototyping & Testing: Prepare for prototyping, testing, and implementation of specific mechanical functions to validate designs.
• Technical Documentation: Develop design documentation, technical specifications, and other project-related documentation (e.g., assembly instructions, fabrication drawings, test procedures, etc.) necessary for product implementation.
• Manufacturing Knowledge: Apply good knowledge of manufacturing technologies and the forming of sheet metal to ensure designs are optimized for production.
• Collaboration: Demonstrate a receptive attitude toward new ideas, feedback, and diverse perspectives, combined with strong teamwork and communication skills when interacting with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical (Production) Engineering.• Experience of 2 to 5 years in a design or manufacturing engineering role within the Sheet Metal Industries. Note: Experience strictly limited to a minimum of 2 years • CAD Software:1.  Proficiency is mandatory in primary design and drafting tools. 2. SolidWorks (for 3D modeling and detailed design), AutoCAD (for 2D drafting).• Technical Knowledge: 1. Strong foundational understanding of fabrication processes. 2. Good knowledge of manufacturing technologies and forming of sheet metal (e.g., bending, punching, laser cutting, welding).• Design Documentation: 1. Ability to produce comprehensive technical packages. 2. Skills in preparing technical specifications, assembly instructions, fabrication drawings, and test procedures.• General IT: 1. Standard business software proficiency. 2.
