- Supervise daily GL operations and journal entries.
- Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and classified.
- Monitor trial balance and ensure account accuracy.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Ensure timely completion of reconciliations and adjustments.
- Coordinate with other finance sections (AP, AR, Treasury, Costing).
- Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure proper follow-up on outstanding reconciling items.
- Maintain reconciliation schedules and supporting documents.
- Assist in preparing financial statements.
- Support management reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS / local accounting standards.
- Provide required documentation during audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
- Supervise and develop GL accountants.
- Ensure proper internal controls over GL processes.
Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance.Not less than 7 years experience in a similar position.High level of accuracy and analytical thinking.Excellent knowledge of office software (Excel-accounting operating system)
