Position Overview

They are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer (Team Leader) to oversee structural design activities and lead a team of engineers within our construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, deep knowledge of international design codes, and proven leadership capabilities (particularly in precast and prestressed concrete systems).

In this role, you will lead the structural engineering team and oversee the full design lifecycle of complex precast and reinforced concrete structures. You will be responsible for conducting advanced structural analysis, ensuring the accuracy of technical deliverables, and defining engineering standards across projects.

You will guide the team in producing high‑quality drawings and calculations, ensure compliance with international codes, and provide technical leadership to guarantee that all structural solutions are safe, efficient, and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Structural Design & Analysis

• Review and interpret project drawings and contract documents, ensuring all required structural details and calculations are accurately developed.
• Perform structural analysis using advanced engineering software, including ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, PROKON, CONCISE, SP Column, and AutoCAD.
• Use Revit (mandatory) for BIM modeling and coordination.
• Apply relevant international codes and standards such as BS, ACI, ASTM, AISC, PCI, CPCI, UBC, and others applicable to reinforced concrete and steel structures.

Precast & Prestressed Concrete Expertise

• Demonstrate in‑depth understanding of precast connection details, production processes, and product specifications.
• Review and interpret contract drawings and technical specifications related to precast systems.
• Design precast and prestressed concrete elements, including lateral analysis, connection design, and product engineering.

Technical Leadership & Quality Control

• Supervise and approve initial design concepts and rough product designs prepared by structural engineers.
• Review engineering drawings and calculations to ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, and industry standards.
• Lead and mentor structural engineers assigned to projects, ensuring high‑quality deliverables aligned with customer expectations.
• Oversee project schedules and ensure design activities are completed within budget and timeline constraints.
