Job description Coordinating berthing and unberthing of vessels and ensuring safe vessels traffic within various Egyptian ports. Overseeing the loading and unloading of cargo, handling cargo storage and handling equipment, and ensuring efficient cargo flow. Follow up with customs clearance procedures. Preparing, arranging and filing all documents related to cargo loading/discharging at ports. Follow up cargo readiness in accordance with vessels schedules. Coordinating with shipping companies, customs clearance agents, port authorities, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth operations and timely vessel turnaround. Maintain cost-effective operations and the highest standards. Ensuring compliance with international maritime laws, safety standards, and environmental regulations. Responding to and managing any incidents or emergencies that may arise during port operations 24/7. Skills and Qualifications Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. In-depth knowledge of maritime operations, port procedures, and relevant regulations. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with port infrastructure, cargo handling equipment, and customs clearance procedures. Proficiency in relevant software and technology used in port operations. Experience in a port-related role or a related field.
