Algihaz Holding is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Secondary Design Engineer to join our growing team in Cairo
What you’ll do
Prepare or validate and approve engineering for protection and control (P&C) system for HV and MV electric power substations. Prepare one-lines, three-lines, control schematics, interconnection and wiring diagrams, relay panel front views, and cable schedules. Provide technical calculations, technical purchasing specification and schedules for auxiliary power system equipment. Prepare bill of quantities. Review of supplier’s design. Provide technical support and to develop tender scheme options and related project scope documents. Develop and evaluate conceptual substation design options to initiate transmission and distribution system projects. Participate in design meetings and provide continual input to optimize the design and minimize futile work
What you'll need
Bachelor’s degree in engineering – Power Major Experience 3-7 years of experience in same position Strong communication Skills. Strong in Auto CAD/Micro Station. Strong analytical skill. Strong in MS Office. Have knowledge of all the functions for different voltage levels 380,110 & 13.8kv (GIS & AIS) and (Conventional &SAS). Power system design software like ETAP, E3…. etc.
