Accountant - General Ledger & Analytics is responsible for managing General Ledger accounting activities while delivering financial analysis and reporting insights to support decision-making.
The role ensures accurate financial records, timely month-end close, and meaningful financial analytics that enhance business performance, cost control, and operational efficiency.
Main Accountabilities
- Manage General Ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end/year-end close
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards
- Analyze department profitability and physician revenue performance
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance tracking
- Assist in financial statement preparation and audit support
- Maintain fixed asset accounting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Identify process improvement opportunities in GL and reporting workflows
- Support ERP financial modules and reporting tools
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis for strategic initiatives
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis
