What you will do
As a Project and Order Manager, you will manage and coordinate the commercial and delivery aspects of Life Safety (LSD) orders and projects for customers in the ME region. This includes standard, assembled‑to‑order, and configured‑to‑order equipment. You will act as a customer advocate, handling complex order‑related issues and ensuring clear communication with plants, Distribution Centers, Logistics, field sales, and other internal teams to secure accurate, on‑time delivery and support after‑sales needs.
We are seeking an individual with strong order management experience, ideally within the Life Safety (LSD) product portfolio or a similar technical customer‑order environment.
Main Duties:
Deliver orders and small projects within agreed timelines, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction targets.
Maintain commercial integrity of LSD orders and project files: review purchase orders, conduct regular reviews, and apply risk‑mitigation actions.
Ensure proper financial control, resolve claims, and support bonds/letters of credit when needed.
Oversee progress billing, invoicing, shipment coordination, and logistics.
Communicate with plants, credit, logistics, field sales, and customers regarding order status, schedules, documentation, and invoicing.
Manage multiple orders/projects with correct prioritization and timely execution.
Collaborate with Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and other support functions to ensure smooth delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Issue shipping documentation (PL, PI, Invoice, CN) in SAP and ensure accuracy of all order‑related files.
Adhere to Eaton’s values, Life Safety standards, safety, and environmental requirements, and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any suitable field.5 to 7 years of hands‑on experience in order management is mandatory.
-Experience in the Life Safety (LSD) sector or an electrical engineering background is an advantage, but not required.English language proficiency at B2 level or higher (spoken and written). Skills:
Strong experience in the Order‑to‑Cash process is required.
Experience handling customer orders in industrial, commercial, Life Safety, or similar environments is an advantage.
Customer‑facing communication experience (internal & external).
Understanding of logistics workflows, international documentation, and trade processes is a plus.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive follow‑up.
High sense of urgency and ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and collaboration tools.
Engineering or technical background is not required, but can be an added advantage.
Experience supporting ME region customers or documentation requirements is an advantage.
PMP certification is a plus (optional).
Logistics, clearance, and documentation knowledge is an asset.
