Job Summary:We are seeking a highly responsive and detail-oriented After-Hours Hotel Travel Counselor to support our corporate clients during non-business hours. The role involves handling urgent hotel bookings and last-minute changes while maintaining service excellence, policy compliance, and client satisfaction. The counselor will work in direct alignment with the Team Leader and overall company objectives to ensure seamless 24/7 service continuity and client loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:Manage urgent hotel requests during after-hours (4:00 PM – 12:00 Midnight), including bookings, changes, cancellations, and problem resolution. Ensure consistent alignment with the Team Leader through updates, shift reports, and escalation of complex issues requiring follow-up. Use global booking tools and supplier networks (GDS, Hotel Hub, HCorpo, or direct portals) to confirm rooms within corporate policy and client preference. Maintain high service levels by managing last-minute travel needs, overbooking cases, and unavailable hotels quickly and calmly. Align daily work with the company’s service standards, duty of care commitments, and client SLAs. Communicate professionally and promptly with clients via phone and business email. Finalize all paperwork and logs by end of shift, including CRM notes, client instructions, and booking confirmations. Stay up to date on client travel policies, supplier updates, and company process improvements. Participate in regular check-ins with the Team Leader to ensure consistent performance and alignment with team goals.
Required Qualifications:2–3+ years of experience in hotel booking, preferably in a corporate or TMC environment. Proficiency with GDS (Amadeus/Sabre), hotel platforms, and B2B aggregators. Strong time management and ability to complete all tasks under pressure. Fluent written and verbal communication in English, with business email writing skills. Solid understanding of global geography, hotel categories, and corporate travel dynamics. Proven ability to work independently, but in alignment with team priorities and leadership directives.
Preferred Skills:GDS/Hotel booking certifications Experience handling VIP or executive-level travel Familiarity with corporate travel platforms (e.g., Concur, SAP)
