We are seeking an experienced Product Owner / Business Analyst to join our product team.
In this role, you will serve as the bridge between stakeholders and the development team, translating business needs into clear technical requirements.
Working alongside the Project Coordinator and Technical Lead, you will own the product vision, prioritize the backlog, and ensure that development efforts align with business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics in alignment with company goals.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with internal teams (not extensively with external clients) to understand needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
• User Story Writing: Create detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring the development team has everything they need to deliver quality work.
• Backlog Management: Prioritize and maintain the product backlog using Agile/Scrum methodologies, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical feasibility.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Coordinator to ensure smooth project execution, and with the Technical Lead to ensure technical feasibility of requirements.
• Cross-functional Leadership: Guide and coordinate with Development, QA, and Design teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Sprint Planning & Reviews: Lead sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to maintain team momentum and continuous improvement.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive product documentation, including product requirements documents (PRDs), wireframes, process flows, and release notes.
• AI-Powered Efficiency: Leverage AI tools to enhance documentation quality, streamline requirements writing, improve user story creation, and accelerate analysis tasks.
Required Skills:
• 2–4 years of proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in software development.
• Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies with hands-on experience running sprints and managing product backlogs.
• Exceptional ability to write clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that developers can execute confidently.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (ClickUp, Jira, Confluence, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex requirements into manageable tasks.
• Experience working with cross-functional remote teams (Development, QA, Design).
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English (written and verbal).
• Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools (Figma, Balsamiq, or similar) is a plus.
• Understanding of technical concepts and ability to communicate effectively with development teams.
• Proficiency in using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) to enhance productivity in documentation, requirements analysis, and content creation.
