Job Purpose: Manager performs complex and significant project-related tasks, Highly organized, detail-oriented, hardworking and have the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. BIM knowledge and interest in working with Construction Technology.
Responsibilities: § Responsible for BIM standards development, implementation. § Creation and maintenance of Revit Template file to assure standards. § Assist in Developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards. § Train and oversee the day-to-day activities of the Revit Specialist to ensure BIM standards are maintained in the creation of the Architectural & Structural Revit models. § Revit training & implementation for all the disciplines. § Putting the strategy for the file segregation. § Plan, create a plan of implementation. Who are the team members, what the project is & what the goals are. § Managing the company’s BIM360 Admin account § Internal Training: provide Architecture & structure fundamental and intermediate training to staff. § Conduct internal continuing education Revit Architecture training sessions. § Provide technical orientation to new hires regarding BIM tools. § Test new hires skills in BIM § Develop/Update, implement and maintain BIM Workflow, protocols and standards. § Liaise and coordinate with BIM Specialist / BIM Technicians / BIM & Design System Lead/ BIM Technical Manager in other Architecture Studios, Structural Team, MEP & Other Consultants§ Organise, configure and maintain projects. § Manage Revit project production and project contents and Standard Library objects. § Coordinate multidisciplinary models. § Mentoring of core BIM design systems and the company’s best practices. § Provide day-to-day BIM Technical support to the engineers § Leading and Managing a team of Structure CAD/Revit Technician.§ Reviewing and preparing BIM Execution Plans, BIM Scope of work and contractual documents.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: § Expert Knowledge in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage.§ Work on large scale projects in Autodesk Revit and associated technologies.§ In-depth knowledge of latest version of Autodesk Revit and Navisworks, with experience of creating search sets, running clash detection and producing clash reports. § Experience in working with CAD Packages i.e. Auto CAD § Able to produce Visual images from Navisworks / Enscape / Lumion.§ Other BIM related software and how they work with Revit.§ Extensive Experience in BIM360 Design & Team
Qualifications § Minimum 10 years of experience in area of expertise with a strong portfolio of work which demonstrates excellent technical capabilities.§ Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related.
