Personnel Section Head
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Personnel Section Head to lead our personnel department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial environments, ensuring all personnel activities are conducted in accordance with Egyptian labor law and company policies. Experience in the textile, weaving, or ready-made garment industries is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Labor Law Compliance: Ensure full compliance with the Egyptian Labor Law, Social Insurance Law, and Medical Insurance regulations.
- Documentation & Records: Oversee the maintenance of all employee files and ensure they are 100% audit-ready.
- Payroll Input: Supervise the preparation of monthly payroll variables (attendance, overtime, deductions, and leaves).
- Governmental Relations: Manage relationships with Social Insurance offices, Labor offices, and other relevant governmental bodies.
- Manpower Handling: Manage the personnel life cycle for a large workforce, from hiring documentation to termination/resignation procedures (Form 1, 2, and 6).
- Reporting: Prepare periodic HR reports regarding turnover, absenteeism, and headcounts.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience in personnel, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/head role within a factory or industrial setting.
- Industry Background: Proven experience in textiles or garment manufacturing is a significant advantage.
- Legal Knowledge: Deep understanding of Egyptian labor law and social insurance regulations.
- Skills: Strong leadership, excellent negotiation skills, and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
