Job Details

  • Prepare, review, and file accurate VAT returns for a diverse portfolio of clients in compliance with Egyptian tax regulations.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of client transactions to ensure correct VAT treatment and identify potential risks or opportunities.
  • Advise clients on VAT implications of business operations, transactions, and new legislation.
  • Liaise with tax authorities on behalf of clients, managing audits, queries, and correspondence related to VAT matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT laws, regulations, and best practices, ensuring timely communication of changes to clients and internal teams.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of VAT compliance processes and internal controls.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior accountants and client staff on VAT compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with audit, legal, and consulting teams to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for VAT inspections and support clients during tax authority reviews.
  • Contribute to the development of VAT advisory services and participate in business development initiatives.
