Job Summary
We are looking for a versatile and highly experienced Senior IT Specialist to oversee and optimize our entire technological ecosystem.
You will be responsible for the high-level design, maintenance, and security of our IT infrastructure, ensuring all systems—from cloud services to local hardware work seamlessly to support business goals.
As a senior member, you will act as a technical escalation point and strategic advisor for IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Design, install, and maintain hybrid environments including on-premises servers and cloud platforms (Azure and 365).
- Systems Administration: Manage enterprise-level systems, including Active Directory/Entra ID.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols (Zero Trust, MFA, IAM). Conduct regular audits to ensure data protection and regulatory compliance.
- Network Operations: Configure and troubleshoot complex network architectures (VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN, and Firewalls).
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership to plan tech refreshes, budget for annual IT spend, and lead digital transformation projects.
- Mentorship: Provide top-tier technical support for escalated issues and mentor junior IT staff.
Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: 5+ years in a broad IT role, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with cloud architecture and automation tools.Cybersecurity: Strong understanding of modern threat landscapes and incident response.Technical Breadth: Proficiency across Windows/Linux OS, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and networking protocols.Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the "human touch" the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred CertificationsCompTIA CASP+ or Security+Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect ExpertITIL Foundation (v4)
