Job Purpose

To help Etisalat build functional systems that improve the customer experience. The jobholder will be responsible for the smooth operation of a company's IT infrastructure. From creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve existing ones, a DevOps Engineer increases productivity in the workplace.

Report To Position Name

•Full responsibility of migration and upgrading to new releases. •Prioritizing and managing several open cases at one time based on agreed Service Levels. •System integration and implementation of Kubernetes, Docker and API Gateway. •Update the technical documentation and the team knowledge base. •Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline). •Improve CI/CD tooling. •Implement and improve monitoring and alerting. •Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure. •Setting up tools and required infrastructure. •Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible. •Implement testing UAT environment upgrades. •Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and orchestration for the IT testing and production. •Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software for the testing environment. •Monitor system health, performance, and availability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK stack, and respond to alerts to ensure the reliability of testing Environment •Participate in on-call rotations and respond to testing and production incidents, conducting thorough post-incident analysis and driving improvements to prevent future incidents
