Job Summary

The Senior SAP ATTP ABAP Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom solutions within the SAP ATTP environment. This role ensures that pharmaceutical products are accurately serialized, tracked, and reported to global regulatory bodies. You will act as the technical bridge between functional requirements (serialization logic) and system execution.

 Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Technical Design & Development

• Custom RICEF Development: Design and develop complex Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF) specifically for the ATTP module.
• Advanced ABAP Programming: Utilize Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP), BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits to extend standard ATTP functionality.
• S/4HANA Optimization: Develop and optimize code using HANA-specific features like CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services for Fiori-based tracking applications.

2. Serialization & Compliance Logic

• Serial Number Management: Develop custom logic for serial number generation, randomization, and range management based on country-specific requirements.
• EPCIS Event Handling: Manage and troubleshoot EPCIS (Electronic Product Code Information Services) events, ensuring data is correctly captured and shared across the supply chain.
• Regulatory Reporting: Implement and maintain technical interfaces for reporting to government repositories (e.g., Russia’s MDLP, EU Hub, US DSCSA).

3. System Integration

• External Systems: Build and monitor interfaces (via SAP PI/PO or CPI) between ATTP and external partners like CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organizations), 3PLs (Third-Party Logistics), and government systems.
• Internal Integration: Ensure seamless data flow between ATTP and other SAP modules such as ECC/S4HANA (MM, SD, WM/EWM) for goods movement and delivery.

4. Leadership & Quality Assurance

• Code Reviews: Perform peer code reviews to ensure adherence to SAP best practices and GxP (Good Practice) compliance.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed Technical Design Specifications (TDS) and Unit Test plans.

Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior developers on ATTP-specific architectures and debugging techniques
