Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt for an Asphalt Laboratory Technician. The technician will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment, performing tests on asphalt materials, analyzing samples, recording data, and ensuring quality control standards are met. Additionally, the role may involve preparing reports and assisting in the development of improved testing methods.

Qualifications

Proficiency in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and performing general laboratory skills Strong abilities in quality control processes and adhering to industry standards Well-developed analytical skills to analyze samples and interpret test results accurately Experience as a Laboratory Technician in asphalt testing or a similar field Ability to work in a structured laboratory environment and collaborate with team members Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to laboratory operations Relevant certifications or vocational training in laboratory work or material testing are a plus Effective communication and organizational skills
