Role Overview :
This role is designed for application support professionals who enjoy working in enterprise system environments and supporting business-critical applications. You will be part of Orion’s delivery organization, providing 2nd and 3rd line application and technical support for enterprise platforms used by clients across supply chain and operational domains. While the role is application-agnostic, it includes exposure to advanced planning and supply chain systems used in large enterprise environments. The role is ideal for support engineers who want to grow their expertise in complex, integrated business applications while maintaining a strong foundation in application support and incident resolution.
What You’ll Be Doing :
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line application and technical support for enterprise applications• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, incidents, and service requests• Analyze system behavior, logs, and data to identify root causes and propose solutions• Monitor application performance and ensure system availability and stability• Work closely with functional, technical, and integration teams to resolve complex issues• Support users during business-critical periods and post-go-live hyper care• Escalate issues appropriately and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors• Maintain and update support documentation, knowledge articles, and runbooks• Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes and service quality
Required Experience & Background :
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in application or technical support roles• Experience providing 2nd / 3rd line support in enterprise or business-critical systems• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills• Strong communication skills for interaction with end users and technical teams• Professional working proficiency in English
Enterprise & Application Landscape Exposure :
• Experience supporting enterprise applications is highly desirable• Exposure to integrated system landscapes (multiple applications, interfaces, data flows) is a strong plus• Interest or exposure to supply chain, planning, or operational systems is beneficial but not mandatory
Nice to Have / Bonus Skills :
• Experience supporting ERP or planning systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)• Familiarity with application monitoring, ticketing, or ITSM tools• Basic understanding of integrations, data flows, or batch processes• Experience working in a hybrid or customer-facing support environment
