Job Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for managing the financial records of the factory, ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting, and compliance with local regulations. This role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, payroll, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and assisting in budgeting and financial analysis specific to food and juice production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting:
- Maintain accurate financial records for all factory operations including production, raw materials, sales, and overheads.
- Record and reconcile all journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
Cost & Inventory Accounting:
- Track and analyze raw material consumption, production costs, and finished goods inventory.
- Calculate cost of goods sold (COGS) for juice, milk, and other factory products.
- Assist in pricing decisions by providing cost analysis for new or existing products.
- Monitor inventory for discrepancies and assist in inventory audits.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Follow up on customer payments and manage credit terms.
- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts regularly.
