We’re looking for a Word Press Developer who can build, customize, and maintain Word Press websites, with a strong focus on e-commerce (Woo Commerce). Experience with Shopify is a plus. You’ll work on implementing pages, customizing themes/plugins, and improving performance and UX for our online platforms. Responsibilities Develop and customize Word Press websites and landing pages. Implement and customize Woo Commerce stores (products, checkout, payments, shipping). Customize and extend Word Press plugins and themes. Integrate third-party plugins and APIs. Implement responsive UI using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and j Query. Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO basics. Fix bugs, maintain existing websites, and handle ongoing improvements. Ensure security best practices (updates, backups, plugin hygiene). Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams. Handle deployments and basic server-related tasks if needed (c Panel, FTP, basic hosting). Required Skills & Experience Strong experience with Word Press development. Solid hands-on experience with Woo Commerce. Good knowledge of:HTML5CSS3j Query Bootstrap Experience customizing themes (Child themes preferred). Experience working with Word Press plugins (free & premium). Ability to implement full Word Press pages from Figma/Designs. Understanding of Word Press hooks (actions & filters). Experience with page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery – at least one). Basic SEO and performance optimization knowledge. Familiar with Git (basic usage is enough). Nice to Have (Plus Points) Experience with Shopify (themes, Liquid, store setup). PHP development experience (custom plugins or theme functions). Experience with payment gateways (Stripe, Pay Pal, etc.). Experience with caching, CDN, and performance tools. Experience with multilingual websites (WPML, Polylang). Experience with headless Word Press or REST API. Experience deploying on VPS / shared hosting. Soft Skills Can work independently and deliver tasks on time. Strong problem-solving mindset. Attention to detail. Can communicate clearly with non-technical team members. Comfortable working with existing codebases and plugins.
