About the role

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee the Supply Chain Management function for Kerry Egypt. The role will focus on maintaining service levels to our customers while driving efficiency for plant and warehouse operations. This covers People Management, Service, Inventory and Functional Cost Management. 



Key responsibilities
  • Talent Management and People development
  • Responsible for all Kerry Egypt KPI’s – OTIF, Working Capital, Inventory, supply chain costs, Service complaint
  • Lead the process for collecting demand forecast from commercial stakeholders
  • Develop and execute supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and production capacities
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet service targets while minimizing carrying costs
  • Define and manage Dynamic safety stock, reorder points, and inventory policies
  • Develop strong relationships with key commercial stakeholders, becoming key point of contact in the region for any issues, opportunities.
  • Identify process improvements across the supply chain, logistics & customer care functions.

Qualifications and skills
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles (inventory strategies, demand planning, logistics)
  • Experience with SAP and master data management
  • Ability to manage KPIs like OTIF, working capital, inventory
  • Skills in forecasting, collaboration, and cross-functional communication
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies
  • Strong customer focus and ability to drive customer experience
  • Ability to lead NPI (New Product Introduction) projects
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a supply chain with 2 or more in leadership role, working in a Food manufacturing company is preferred
  • Egyptian Nationals preferred given the position location
